The " Babari Encyclopedia " is a French encyclopedia on the Berbers . The editorial plan was launched in 1984 under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and was finally published by Editions Edisud. The main editor of the encyclopedia is Gabriel Gan Bies (Gabriel Camps). Since his death in 2002, Salem Chaker, a professor of the Berber language at the National Institute of Oriental Language and Culture in Paris, has taken over as editor-in-chief. Completed in 2005.
